Zombieland

We actually just watched the movie and, ok, this may be because I'm tired and sick and a bit fuzzy-headed still, but...

I really can't find anything to complain about here. It's an incredibly FUN zombie movie with actual characters.

There was really only one instance where something happened that I had trouble buying, but it was incredibly minor and I imagine most people wouldn't think there was anything wrong with it. But it's the way I look at things, you know, trying to find the holes... and it would have been as simple as merely putting people on a different ride in the amusement park to make them getting off of to escape the zombies more believable. But it's very, very minor. I only mention it because I really have nothing else to mention.

I really enjoyed it, and the cameo was pretty much priceless.

Oh, ok, there's one other thing I can complain about... the one line about facebook which dates the entire thing.

Really though, I'm just blathering. I'd talk more about what it did right, but honestly I'm just too tired. Perhaps i will do a follow-up soon, but... yeah, that's how you do action/comedy right.

If you don't mind brief moments of mild gore (which is NOTHING compared to anything Romero ever did), you should see this movie.

it does what some of the best movies do... makes me kick myself for not thinking of it first.

Great stuff.

Final grade: A

Susan says: I loved it when nerd boy got on a motorcycle, and I said, "Oh, and he knows how to ride a motorcycle?" just before he crashed into the bushes.

No, he does not know how to ride a motorcycle. A+.
