You're in Los Angeles, so why haven't you gone to a film festival yet, hmm?
Is it a money thing? Well, what if you could go for FREE?
A while ago, I wrote up this review for a short film called "Expiration Date." It stars Joe Hendrix and Kaitlin Ferrell, focuses on a one-night stand, and was written and directed by the astonishingly professional and ever-wonderful Noah Pohl.
One day Noah decided to enter his short film into the LA United Film Festival, and they picked his film, because it rocks!
So come on down Monday, May 3 and see Noah's film along with three other short films in the "Relationships" block. It's free! Just show up at
Los Feliz 3 Cinemas
1822 Vermont Ave.
Los Angeles, CA 90027
and you get free tickets! The screenings start at 5:15 p.m.
After the film, you'll be able to ask Noah questions about how he got to be so darn cool. Noah is also competing for Jury and Audience Awards in the shorts category, and audience members can vote!
And hey, if you want to buy tickets to the rest of the festival, I certainly would not stop you.
MovieMaker Magazine voted LA United as "One of the 25 Coolest Film Festivals" as well.
Buy tickets and/or see the schedule
So come on down ... I mean, if you're cool, and you're cool. Aren't you? :)
